Anna Babic Robbins, dubbed “The Rose Of The Adriatic” by pilgrims to her village, leaves her home bound for America. She is to deliver secrets concerning the fate of the world to a Chicago priest who will shepherd mankind to prepare to hear God speak.
Four women travel to Las Vegas, and while there, snow begins to fall during triple digit heat. They soon learn that the non-accumulating snowfall is a worldwide phenomenon—a universal sign from God preceding the gift of a permanent sign inexplicable by earthly standards.
With the culmination of these miraculous events, all their paths intersect, and God will reveal His plans to each soul on earth.

Interview With K.M Daughters
It’s a pleasure to talk to a sister team, authors known as K.M Daughters. Welcome, Pat and Kathie!
Q: In which fiction genre do you write and is it the same genre you prefer to read?
A: We write multiple genres, which probably stems from loving to read multiple genres. We’ve published fifteen books to date including: Inspirational Romance, Romantic Suspense, Contemporary Romance, Fantasy Romance and Mainstream Fiction. Rose in the Desert is a new genre for us: Christian Speculative Fiction
Q: How did you get started writing fiction?
A: We each wrote manuscripts individually when we were young mothers. Kathie started with romance novels and Pat wrote a chick-lit fiction novel. We loved to bat ideas for our stories back and forth while visiting each other for “sister time.” Kathie had a title, Reunion for the First Time, and a basic plot premise in mind about fifteen years ago. We brainstormed plot and character details when we attended our first Romance Writers of America conference in 2006 while taking breaks walking in the hotel’s vicinity. When we were done, Kathie suggested that we write the book together. Immediate brainstorming began to answer the question, how exactly would we do that?
Q: Is there a particular theme that runs through all of your novels?
A: Yes, love heals.
Q: Do you have a favorite setting?
A: Valselo, Croatia, the setting in our Christian inspirational and speculative fiction novels (Jewel Of The Adriatic; Rose Of The Adriatic; Left At The Altar; Just The Way You Are; Resurrected Love; and Rose In The Desert) is our favorite setting. It’s a little like Brigadoon, totally fictional, magical and you won’t find it anywhere on a globe.
Q: What role does faith play in your fiction?
A: Our faith is central to our fiction writing – of course, in our Christian fiction, but perhaps not so obviously in our other genre writing as well. Faith is central to our lives, and we believe that God inspires us and provides the words.
Congratulations, Pat and Kathie, on your latest collaboration. Thank you for joining us!
