Living in California isn’t cheap, even in middle-class neighborhoods like my own. But then you have enclaves of the very wealthy, such as in Coto de Caza. This community gained fame as the location for the TV show, The Real Housewives of Orange County (although I never watched it). It is the home to celebrities like Rod Carew (former major league baseball star), Michael Chang (pro tennis player), and actress Linda Blair. It is also the home of our fictional celebrity adoptive parents, Wyatt and Jillian Beckett.
