Tomorrow’s release day for A Heart for News! I’m eager for readers to check it out.
For our final Fun Fact: Margo’s cute little scooter.
Don’t you love it? It’s a Vespa, a brand of scooter originating from Tuscany, Italy, and manufactured by Piaggio & Co since 1946. Its popularity declined in the 1970s and 80 and was revived in the early 2000s when London instituted a fee on cars being driven in Central London. It is said Chef Jamie Oliver and the BBC contributed to the resurgence in sales.
I couldn’t find any record of Vespa sales in the South Pacific, but it’s a perfect vehicle for the small islands. And I think they are so cute!
Don’t forget to enter the giveaway! Did you know if you missed one of the Fun Facts, you could revisit the previous Fun Facts and enter the giveaway each day.
